This design has caused controversy in some libraries. Personally, I've seen the need, especially when a parent/caregiver sits down at the computer with a wiggly baby who just wants down.👶☺️

Book Club will meet today at 5:30 pm in the library to discuss "One Hundred Years of Solitude," a 1967 novel by Colombian author, Gabriel García Márquez. The novel is often cited as one of the supreme achievements in world literature.

In loving memory of a former library board trustee and good friend, Edna J. Stairrett, (12/6/1933-09/26/2023.) Edna made a lasting impact on all who knew her, including the many organizations and boards she served for many years. Her contributions and dedication will be remembered and appreciated, and we will miss her.

A lot has been written about the Dalton Gang and this Kansas History book is dedicated to Dalton descendants everywhere. It contains genealogy of the Dalton family, the famous as well as the unknown, with some familiar names in and around the Meade area.
