The Library's Book Club's pick for September is Kristin Hannah's "The Women." It tells the story of a woman who served in Vietnam, as an army nurse, and is based on real-life experiences of female veterans, which gives it a powerful authenticity.

We are honored to announce a virtual reality exhibit is coming to the Jetmore Public Library. The opening of the virtual reality exhibition, “The Journey Back,” begins Monday, September 16 through Thursday, September 19. The exhibit uses cutting-edge technology to immerse visitors in the personal stories of two Holocaust Survivors, Fritzie Fritzshall and George Brent, and takes participants on a journey as they walk with through their childhood homes and current day Auschwitz, Mauthausen, and Ebensee. The length of the VR documentary is about 20 minutes.
