We started in February and have read ten books. Our December meeting is today at 5:00 pm - we will talk about "Winter Garden" by Kristin Hannah, and pick up Book Club selection #11!

Thanks to everyone who attended our most recent Community Conversation on Friday, December 1, in the King Center. A very informative discussion was shared and no questions went unanswered. Many thanks to our speakers, David-Paul Cavazos, Administrator and CEO of Hodgeman County Health Center, and HCHC Physician, Dr. Alejandro Vando, two important leaders in our community.

You'll share some HO-HO-HOs and HA-HA-HAs in three-time Caldecott Honoree ~ Mo Willems' ~ ninth Pigeon book, "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Sleigh!" It's one of the most wonderful times of the year - to read to a child.

Everyone is encouraged to join in the discussion, including Q & A, with the administrator and CEO of Hodgeman County Health Center, David-Paul Cavazos and HCHC clinical staff, including Dr. Alejandro Vando. Find out what’s going on at the hospital and what’s up and coming during an informative, one-hour conversation. Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome.

caregivers, librarians, and public figures across the state
to read a selected title during the month of November. The 2023
Kansas Reads to Preschoolers selection is “My Heart
Fills with Happiness,” a heartwarming, prize-winning
picture book written by Monique Gray Smith with beautiful illustrations by Julie Flett.
